Grant Targets Juvenile Diabetes

Jeffrey P. Krischer
Jeffrey P. Krischer, a professor of pediatrics at the University of South Florida, received $169 million from the National Institutes of Health to coordinate a 10-year international study of juvenile diabetes. The study is designed to determine the environmental causes of the disease in hopes of preventing, delaying or reversing Type 1 diabetes.
